How I Started My Spiritual Blog and Turned It Into a Calling

From Inspiration to Sacred Action

Every soul’s journey begins with a whisper.

Mine came as a quiet, persistent calling, stirring my spirit during the most tender season of my life. At the intersection of motherhood, awakening, and purpose, I felt the divine urge to share, to speak, to heal, to write. That nudge birthed what would become a living, breathing expression of my sacred work: my spiritual blog.

Today, my blog is not just a platform; it is a sanctuary. It is a portal for alchemy, a space where words become rituals, stories become medicine, and wisdom is woven into every post. And though it began humbly, it has become a lighthouse guiding others to their truth.

This is the story of how it all began and how you, too, can follow the sacred breadcrumbs toward your own path.

How I Started My Spiritual Blog and Turned It Into a Calling

The Divine Nudge That Started It All

The inspiration to start a spiritual blog wasn’t a neatly packaged idea, it was a spiritual summons. I was deep in the trenches of healing trauma, reclaiming my identity, and embracing my role as a mother when I felt Spirit’s tap on my shoulder. In dreams, meditations, and synchronicities, the message was clear: Share your journey.

How I Started My Spiritual Blog

Like many high priestesses in the making, I initially resisted. I thought, Who am I to speak? But Spirit reminded me: it’s not about being perfect, it’s about being willing.

So, I said yes. Yes to telling my story. Yes to opening my heart. Yes to creating a digital temple where truth and transformation could meet.

Setting Up the Blog: Tech Meets Temple

Creating a spiritual blog is both an outer and inner act of creation.

Step 1: Clarify Your Purpose Before I touched any tech, I grounded in intention. My blog would be a sacred container for healing, esoteric wisdom, and the divine feminine. I journaled on questions like:

  • Who am I here to serve?

  • What message do I carry in my womb of words?

  • How do I want people to feel when they visit my site?

Step 2: Choose the Right Platform I chose a wix site because of the flexibility and ownership it offers. My domain name aligned with my brand, and I invested in a hosting plan that could scale with me.

Step 3: Design With Spirit I infused every design choice with magic, colors that reflected my aura, fonts that carried elegance and strength, and symbols that evoked the mystic. My blog is a temple, and I treat it as such.

Step 4: SEO as Sacred Strategy Even in spirituality, visibility matters. I researched SEO keywords like "spiritual blog for healing," "divine feminine wisdom," and “how to start a spiritual blog.” Each blog post became an offering—beautifully written but also optimized with titles, meta descriptions, H1 and H2 tags, and keyword integration.

Writing Through the Seasons of Life

My blog evolved as I did. Every post became a timestamp of who I was becoming.

Motherhood and Miracles Writing with a baby on my chest, I poured my heart into essays about sacred parenting, spiritual resilience, and navigating postpartum with grace. Some days, words flowed like honey. Other days, they came through tears. But I kept writing.

Grief and Grace There were seasons of loss, where grief threatened to mute my voice. But Spirit reminded me: even your shadows have a message. I wrote about ancestral healing, shadow work, and the silent initiations that come with deep transformation.

Expansion and Evolution As I grew, my blog grew with me. I began offering services, email readings, intuitive guidance, astrology insights. I used my blog as a base to promote my offerings, always staying true to my voice. I added testimonials, created lead magnets, and started building my email list.

Lessons From the Blogging Journey

1. Consistency is a Ritual Treat your blog like a sacred fire. Keep tending it. Even if it’s one post a week, your consistency builds trust, with your audience and with the Universe.

2. Your Authenticity is Your SEO Search engines favor genuine, helpful content. But more than that, readers feel truth. When you write from your soul, it resonates.

3. It’s Okay to Pivot Your blog will change as you change. Allow it. Let your voice mature. Let your purpose deepen. What began as a blog about healing might evolve into teachings on divine feminine business. Flow with it.

4. Community is Everything Invite your readers into your world. Create sacred space for comments, newsletters, and community offerings. Blogging isn’t a monologue,, it’s a circle.

5. The Journey is the Calling I used to think my blog was the tool that would lead me to my calling. But over time, I realized, it was the calling. The writing. The sharing. The healing. That is the sacred work.

Encouragement for Others Wanting to Start

To the one reading this with a heart full of dreams and a mind full of doubt:

You don’t need to have it all figured out. You don’t need the perfect logo, the fanciest website, or a massive following. You need only your voice and a willingness to speak from your soul.

Start where you are. Write from where you stand. Let each post be an offering. Let your blog be your altar.

Remember: the internet doesn’t need more noise, it needs more medicine. Your words could be someone’s prayer answered.
